About Our Founder, Jana Brown

Jana Brown, our founder and primary harpist at Golden Harps of Nashville, is an experienced classical harpist who brings her expertise and extensive training to every special event. Having the experience of Principal harpist of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, Jana holds a certificate in harp performance and a diploma in teaching from the Royal Schools of Music in London. She also earned the Harp teaching degree with Distinction from the Royal Schools of Music in London. As a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Covenant Theological Seminary, Jana brings professional awareness to each celebratory event throughout the greater Nashville, Tennessee, area. Jana also teaches private harp lessons for the harp in her home and at several metro middle schools.
